Start with Sites
Add your first candidate site — a location you're evaluating for a petrol station, terminal or depot. The platform scores it across 10 criteria and plots it on a live map.
Tip: Click anywhere on the map in the Intelligence → Sites tab to drop a pin. The platform auto-detects OSM fuel stations within 1.5 km (your competition) and you can pull satellite imagery to assess the location visually.
Before you begin
Two things to set up on day one:

Check Compliance → Compliance — 13 EWURA / BRELA approvals are pre-loaded. Mark each one with its status and set due dates. The Overview will alert you 30 and 7 days before any deadline.

Create an account (top right) — your data syncs to the cloud so you don't lose it. Use Overview → Export all data as a daily backup until then.
Demo mode — you're exploring with sample data. Changes reset on next login.

Decision Log
Indicative figures driven by the data and assumptions you enter. Not a forecast or legal/financial advice. Confirm regulation with EWURA/PBPA and a qualified Tanzanian advocate; confirm economics with verified quotes.
Operations
The operating engine: bulk stock you hold at the terminal and the distribution of fuel, gasohol and LPG out to gas stations and wholesale buyers. A delivered order depletes the matching depot stock and books revenue and a receivable. Figures are management records, not audited accounts.

Stations
Operational records for your actual and planned stations — open one to track assets, throughput, wet-stock variance, pricing, staff, compliance and profit. Wet-stock variance is your loss-detection signal; licence/fire expiries flag renewals. Fill in figures as stations come online.

Company licences above; station-level renewals (operating licence, fire certificate, calibration) pulled automatically from the Stations tab. Set an expected duration (weeks) on each open item to project phase completion.
Land & Access
The land-acquisition, compensation and wayleave workstream — the #1 cause of delay and the gate on EWURA approval and bank financing. Compensation must follow the Land Act (Cap. 113) and Land Acquisition Act (Cap. 118): registered-valuer valuation, fair documented compensation, registration. This is a management tracker, not a legal record — run it with qualified counsel.
Financial Model
EWURA price bulletins
Log the published monthly cap prices (Dar es Salaam) so margin assumptions trace to a source. EWURA publishes these in monthly press releases.

Costing
Cost control and management accounts — this records and controls cost, it does not make payments. Expenses are Budgeted → Committed → Incurred; only Incurred amounts count as actual cost. Revenue and gross margin are pulled from the Operations tab. Management figures, not audited accounts.

Inbound feeds (forecourt POS, ATG tank gauges, mobile-money settlement, GPS telematics, EWURA bulletins) post to the ingest endpoints with a workspace API key; data lands in the matching tab automatically. The outbound accounting export feeds QuickBooks/Sage/Tally. The platform records and controls — it does not move money.
Market Intelligence — by region
Counts fuel stations (10 km) and commercial POIs (5 km) around the centre — suggests Competition & Logistics scores with evidence.
Claude gives a first-pass on regional attractiveness — reads attached documents; calibrate with real data.

Regional scores are your judgment plus an AI first-pass, not live statistics. Calibrate with real population, fuel-consumption and LPG-penetration data per region before committing capital.
